Nature Reserves and Dark Sky Parks

Nature reserves and Dark Sky Parks require a particularly responsible lighting concept that balances safety with the protection of the natural environment. The focus is on limiting light pollution in order to preserve the natural night sky and keep the impact of artificial lighting on people, animals and insects as low as possible. At the same time, paths and traffic areas must continue to be illuminated reliably and safely.

SCHUCH offers specially tailored luminaires with warm light colours and precise light distribution for these applications. Precise beam characteristics direct the light specifically onto the areas to be illuminated and help to limit unwanted stray light. This makes it possible to implement lighting concepts that take the specific requirements of sensitive areas into account while ensuring the safe use of public paths and routes.
