FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How can I apply?
You can apply for an advertised position or send us an unsolicited application. We look forward to receiving your application, preferably by e-mail to karriere [at] schuch.de (karriere[at]schuch[dot]de). This not only allows us to process the documents more quickly, but also contributes to environmental protection through the paperless process.
Your application should ideally include the following documents in PDF format:
- Cover letter
- CV in tabular form
- References & certificates of further education (the essential ones)
With the help of these documents, we can get a first impression of you, your qualifications and your career and prepare ourselves optimally for an interview.
Do you have any tips for my application documents?
Limit your application to relevant information. Attach references and certificates to your application that show us that you are qualified for the job. For example, point out special certificates or training courses in your cover letter.
Also make sure that your documents are easy to read and do not contain any formatting or spelling mistakes. A clear structure of your documents contributes to a good overall impression.
How does the application process work?
After receipt of your application by e-mail, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt. Your application will then be carefully and intensively reviewed by the HR and specialist department. Please understand that this review may take up to three weeks before you receive a response from us by e-mail. If you are invited to an interview, you have already taken the first step! This means that we would like to get to know you better.
You should always be prepared for the following questions:
- What were your previous professional tasks?
- What makes you stand out?
- What do you expect from the position you have applied for?
- What expectations do you have of SCHUCH as an employer?
During the interview, we will introduce you to the company and give you detailed information about your future tasks and the specialist department. As a rule, a responsible person from the personnel or plant management and the specialist department will take part in the interview. Please bring enough time for the interview, which usually lasts one hour. You will receive feedback from us by e-mail no later than three weeks after an initial interview. A successful first interview will be followed by an invitation to a second interview.
Can I also apply on my own initiative?

What happens to my documents and personal data if I am not considered?
Your documents will be deleted no later than six months after the application process has been completed. You can find more information in our data protection declaration.
