As Outdoor light fitting
Efficient lighting for large areas: The AREALO 2 large-area spotlight impresses with its high durability, low load on the mast and flexible application options. A range of light colours from 1,800 K through 2,200 K to 3,000 K enables lighting solutions that are tailored to specific needs whilst also being insect-friendly. Vibration-resistant and seawater-resistant versions are available for particularly demanding environments. A range of optics and light distributions ensure precise illumination of industrial sites or logistics areas. Where higher light output is required, several modules can be combined per mast using suitable truss designs – ideal for sports venues.
Crossbar Mounting Option
Spotlights for large areas must be mounted on masts at great heights. This cannot be done without a ladder. That is why installation should be as simple and easy as possible. The AREALO 2 is exemplary in this respect.
Thanks to its low weight and reduced pole load, up to five luminaires can be mounted on a single crossbar. Precise alignment is achieved via the mounting bracket, which can be adjusted in 5° increments through an angle of up to 180°. In addition, the luminaires can be swivelled by up to 50° at the four outer mounting points of the crossbar. A practical alignment template supplied with every crossbar makes it quick and easy to set the required angle.
The junction box required for the electrical connection is also mounted directly on the crossbar, meaning only a single supply cable is required in or along the pole. Different crossbar variants are available to suit a wide range of project requirements.
When using a crossbar, the light management components can also be mounted directly on the crossbar.
As high-bay floodlight
Efficient, flexible and robust: the AREALO 2, a high-bay flooflight with a 2-point suspension system, ensures optimum lighting conditions in industrial and warehouse buildings as well as production areas. A range of light colours – including an optional 5,000 K – enables lighting tailored to specific applications. Variants with green LEDs are also available for specialised requirements, such as use in potato storage facilities. The series also reliably copes with demanding environmental conditions, for example, with an optional T40 version or as an ER variant for demanding applications involving ambient temperatures or corrosive atmospheres. Various light distributions and high efficiency ensure cost-effective and future-proof industrial hall lighting.
As an EX light fitting
Safe, powerful and versatile: the AREALO 2’s explosion-proof versions have been specially developed for demanding applications in Zone 2/22 hazardous areas where flammable gases or dusts may be present. Thanks to a range of light distributions and optics, the AREALO 2 can be precisely adapted to a wide variety of applications, for example in the chemical and petrochemical industries, at tank farms, loading stations or industrial plants. Different colour temperatures enable lighting tailored to the specific application.
